City Opera House (Saigon Opera House)
If you have a chance in Ho Chi Minh, don’t forget visit one of the best elegant architecture and the brightest building of Ho Chi Minh City -City Opera House.
It was designed by French architect Ferret Eugene at 20th century and influenced by flamboyant style of the French Third Republic
The house has a main seating floor plus two levels of seating above with capability of 1.800 people.
About materials of constructions like ornaments, balustrades, cartouches, and roof were all imported directly from France.
This house is popular place performing Vietnamese traditional and classical performances such as plays, concerts, ballet, opera, and traditional dance.
