Days off in Vietnam National Holiday 2016

If you are intending for your trip in Vietnam during this month, please well-noted all the following Vietnam Public Holidays before making your plan trip in Vietnam.

On April, the Vietnamese Ministry of Labor, War Invalids,  and Social Affairs has announced that workers will have a total of seven days off from work to celebrate two national holidays (Hung Kings, Reunification Day and International Labor Day).

As this announcement, during Hung King’s death anniversary which falls on 16th April 2016, all Vietnamese will have 3 days off which starts from 16th April to the end of 18th April

With  Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) will also fall on a weekend, all Vietnamese will be allowed to take four consecutive days off work, from April 30 (Saturday) to May 3 (Tuesday)

Well-noted:

  • During these days off, Vietnam Immigration Department, almost travel agencies won’t work, therefore if you want to apply Vietnam visa on arrival, buy some tours , etc, please contact and apply your service before these days
  • During Vietnam Public Holiday, Vietnamese will travel a lot, so it is pretty hard to reserve train ticket, bus or hotel room. In case, you want to make sure about your service, you have to book as soon as possible
  • Please well-noted that all service price (like train tickets, hotel room, etc) will be more expensive than other days
