Extend visa Vietnam

Visa extension means having new staying duration permission in Vietnam. In case, you want to stay in Vietnam longer without reentering, you can extend three times before you need to leave and get a new one.

Vietnam visa extension requirements

Stay in 1 more month: If your current visa is 1 month single, 1 month multiple, 3- month single or 3 -month multiple entry visas, you are allowed to extend visas 1 more month.
Stay in 3 more months: If your current visa is 3- month single or 3 -month multiple entry visas, you can extend visa in 3 more months

Important Requirements

Your passport with validity of more than 6 months
Your passport must have 2 blank pages at maximum before extending
You have to apply for extending at least 7 days before your visa expiring
Normally takes 5 to 7 working days for 01- month visa extension and up to 10 working days for 03 months extension/renewal
You will have to send your original passport to travel agencies for extending Vietnam visas.

The fees of Vietnam visa extension depend on each travel agencies with the different service charge. For the exact fees, please contact the nearest travel agencies in details

1- month visa extension: $60-150/ Per person
3- month visa extension: $ 150-300/Per person

Normally takes 5 to 7 working days for 01- month visa extension and up to 10 working days for 03 months extension/renewal
You should contact the nearest travel agencies for extending. For instance, you are staying in Ho Chi Minh city, you should extend your visa at any travel agencies in Ho Chi Minh city
The visa extension is only applicable for 1 month or 3 months
