Fascinating destination in Vung Tau

Vung Tau City has been attracted so many tourists every year. Statue of Liberty, Vung Tau Light House, Villa Blanche, Dinh Thang Tam Heritage and Worldwide Arms Museum, all of these are very famous there

The statue of Christ

Jesus statue is located on the top of a  small mountain in Vung Tau city, at 170 meters compared with the sea level. It was built in 1974. This statue is 32 meters high, 18.3 meters long arms, having a 133-step stair leading to 2 hands of the statutue.

Location: The statue of Christ is on the top of a Little Mountain, Vung Tau City.

Vung Tau Lighthouse

After following the tunnel built inside the two-floor building which is the residence of the lighthouse guard you will reach the top of the tower. From here, you can see the whole Vung Tau city hidden in the mist, Minh Dam mountain - extremely blue and the crescent-shaped beaches.

Location: On the top of a Little Mountain, Vung Tau City.

Villa Blanche (Bach Dinh)

This was built in 1898, on Phuoc Thang fort used to attack French warships 50 years ago. Bach Dinh is a Roman architecture including 3 floors with high total is19 meters. 19 cannon are preserved here nowadays.

Location: No 10, Tran Phu Street, Vung Tau City.

Dinh Thang Tam Heritage

Including Ngoi Tien Hien, Ong Nam Hai Mausoleum, Ba Ngu Hanh Temple. Besides, there is a temple located in a small island which projects into the sea. The festival of Thang Tam is considered as one of the most spiritual tourism products in Ba Ria Vung Tau, attracting many tourists, especially foreign tourists.

Worldwide Arms Museum

Worldwide Arms Museum was found by Robert Taylor (English) and his wife Nguyen Thi Bong. According to the visitors, this is one of the museums in Vietnam that has worthy of observation.. The museum exhibits 500 effigies, more than 1200 guns, 1000 ancient swords. The arranged space and scientific exhibition are highly appreciated.
