Vietnam immigration policies for visa process

If you are the first time travelers in Vietnam and you are confusing about what should you do and contact if you have some problems with visa or passport in Vietnam.

For issuing visa, extending, a visa modifying or asking for temporary residence certificate, you should submit records to the Vietnam Immigration Office or Police Immigration Management of Cities/Provinces under Central authority
For asking to issue a visa in case of losing the passport, you need immediately report to the ward, commune where your passport was lost, then contact your Embassy or Consulate in Vietnam for asking a new passport. And then applying for the new Vietnam visa
For changing stating purposes in Vietnam, you must be approved by agencies, organizations or individuals as a guarantee to complete all the procedures in Vietnam Immigration Office or Police Immigration Management of Cities/Provinces under Central authority
For getting temporary residence card for foreigners who stay in Vietnam more than 1 year, you are suggested to send the temporary residence card to the Vietnam Immigration Office or Management immigration police Cities/ provinces of Central authority
