Japan extends short-term visa for Vietnamese, Indian and Filipino

On 2^nd Feb 2016 Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the relaxation of visa requirements allows multiple entries for the holder of a short-term stay visa, which permits a stay of up to 90 days.

This decision enhances people exchanges between Japan and the three countries (Vietnam, Filipino, and India) and increases the number of tourism from these three countries to Japan.

Those eligible to the relaxation are businessmen, intellectuals, and cultural scholars who travel to Japan for business purposes.

The period of validity will be extended from five years to up to 10 years.
