SPT2 train from Ho Chi Minh to Mui Ne

Mui Ne is just 4 hour train ride away from Ho Chi Minh. Tourists can take SPT2 train departing at 06:40 am from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh city) and arriving at 10:24am at Phan Thiet station then take bus/taxi to Mui Ne, it’s about 20km. In total, it takes over 4.5 hours by train and bus/taxi from Ho Chi Minh to Mui Ne.
Other trains to Mui Ne
Besides SPT2 train, travellers can take other trains with different schedule which suits their plan. However, they have to take trains from Saigon to Binh Thuan . For this choice, the time they spend will be longer(Binh Thuan station is 40km far from Mui Ne).
From the North, tourists can take SE trains to Binh Thuan station, not to Phan Thiet station. The way is long so they should stop off on the way by buying separate tickets. For example, they can buy the train tickets from Hanoi to Hue, then Hue to Danang, Danang to Nha Trang, Nha Trang to Mui Ne (Binh Thuan station) and finally from Mui Ne to Ho Chi Minh.
