Notre Dame Cathedral is the biggest church in Ho Chi Minh City and is not only cultural place, but also is beautiful religion architecture of Vietnam which attracts many tourists most.

This cathedral is considered one of Vietnam popular destination with stunning and splendid in its sacred atmosphere.

Notre Dame Cathedral was built in 1877 by bishop Isidore Colombert and architect J.Bourad and took about 3 years to build this giant architecture.

In 1959, the status of the Peace Virgin Mary- 91 meters height and 35, 5 meters width, which made by precious marble from Rome and put in front of the Church.

What is the most interesting design of cathedral?

• All materials like bricks, cement, irons were brought from France and still keeps their color today.
• Swiss clock is in front of church’s dome which is still working 130 years
• Cross is in front of church.
