Official Extending Vietnam Visa Exemption For Five European Countries

In order to boost Vietnam domestic tourism and lure more foreign visitors to Vietnam, on 30^th June 2016, Vietnam government approved Resolutions No.56/NQ-CP on extending the validity of visa exemption for citizens of UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy by an additional year.

According to the new regulation, the visa waiver for five Western European citizens will be valid from 1^st July 2016 until 30^th June 2017. All these passport holders are exempted entering Vietnam within 15 days without visa Vietnam.

In case these five country citizens want to stay longer in Vietnam, they will have to apply for Vietnam visas by the two simple ways: Vietnam Embassy or Consulate and Vietnam visa on arrival
