Procedure to get new passport in Vietnam
I lost my passport in Vietnam, what should I do? To apply for the new passport after contacting to local report and getting the police report, you can go to your country’s embassy in Vietnam to renew your passport.
In case there is no Embassy in Vietnam, you can contact Vietnam Immigration Department. Following is documents that you have to prepare before applying for new passport:

· By appointment only · Printout the appointment confirmation · All applicants must apply in person · Police report of lost or stolen · Present proof of your citizenship: birth certificate, Naturalization Certificate or a copy of the lost/stolen passport · One color passport photo (2” x 2” or 5cm x 5cm) with a white background taken within the last 6 months · Complete renew passport form · All fees are payable in U.S. Dollars or Vietnamese Dong in cash. In addition, fees are also payable with the following credit cards in U.S. dollars: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express |

· Present one valid form of photo identification such as driver’s license, foreign passport, state/military ID
