Things to do in Hue at night

If you have not visited Hue yet, you would have noted that nightlife is not the high point of a journey to Hue and tend to end before 11 PM. There are only a few actual "bars" in the city that play host to the late sleepers in the wee hours of night. Apart from these bars, there are a few garden or travelers' cafes.


DMZ Bar located on Le Loi St; close by the river is a lively bar popular with tourists and locals. This is a casual place with a pool table that offers a good choice of Vietnamese and some Italian food. 

Brown Eyes Chill out Bar

The most popular late-night bar in town, with a good blend of locals and traveller-revelers and a party vibe and features a DJ, free pool table, and a friendly atmosphere.

New Sky

This club-bar is wildly popular with Hue’s bright young things and showcases upcoming DJ talent.

Location: No 34 Vo Thi Sau Street.

Mandarin Café

Madarin coffee will be the great place if you would like quiet and comfortable place and drink coffee. This is also at the center of Hue are backpacking community and where you can book boat trips, car/bike hire, and tour information.

Location: No 24 Tran Cao Van Street.

Hue Performance of Hue Folk Songs on the Perfume River

Besides going to bar or coffee, listen to Hue folk songs on the perfume river will be a great choice. Passengers can enjoy performances by local artists who sing folk songs to the tune of traditional woodwind, stringed instruments, and the teacups
