Vietnam Visa on Arrival for US Citizens Applied from 15 December 2016

According to Vietnam Immigration Department, from 15^th December 2016, Visa On Arrival for US Citizens entering Vietnam for tourist purpose is operated as previously with full options:

1 monthsingle entry
3 months single entry
1 month multiple entries
3 months single entry
3 months multiple entries
6 months multiple entries
1 year multiple entries.

As usual, US passport holders have to pay two kinds of fee: service fee (agency) and stamping fee at the airport which is stated as below:

Single entrance: 25 USD
Multiple - up to 3 months: 50 USD
Multiple - more than 3 up to 6 months: 95 USD
Multiple - more than 6 months up to 1 year: 135 USD

With 6 months and 1 year multiple entries, American visitors are allowed to stay maximum for 3 months per entrance. After 3 months, you must exit and come back again with a new 3 months of staying, until the expiry date of your 1 year Visa.

Last but not least, the American tourists have applied visa for 1 year multiple entries before. If you only enter Vietnam in a short time, please apply for a new Approval Letter with the suitable entrance. As a result, you can reduce the stamping fee at the airport. If not, you still have to pay stamping for 1 year multiple entries is 135USD.
