World’s longest cable car system in Vietnam

On 2nd Feb 2016 Lao Cai Province inaugurated the world’s longest three-rope cable car system which connects Muong Hoa Valley with the Roof of Indochina- Fansipan Mountain.

At the inaugural ceremony, representatives from Guinness World Records presented a certificate recognizing the system as the world’s longest three-rope cable car (6,292.5 meters).

This cable car system is able to carry up to 2000 passengers per hour and shortens the travel time to the Peak of Fansipan Mountain to 15 minutes

As project’s designer evaluation, this world’s most modern three –rope system is tolerant of harsh weather conditions and guarantees complete safety for visitors

Hoping the system will help all travelers conquer the Roof of Indochina and admire the majestic Vietnam
