Vietnam Embassy in Germany functions as a channel of communication between the Vietnamese Government and its counterpart in Germany. It is also the place where Germany citizens and residents can visit to apply for a visa to Vietnam.

As Vietnam Embassies, all citizens of Germany are exempted entry visa for a stay of within 15 days in Vietnam ( July 1st, 2015- June 30th, 2016). But for citizens of others are not included in the list of Vietnam visa exemption and citizens of Germany wanting to stay in Vietnam for more than 15 days, a Vietnam visa is required.
Citizens or residents in Germany can choose one of 02 options below to apply for a visa to Vietnam:
- Directly contact the Vietnam Embassy to apply for a visa; OR
- Apply online to get visa on arrival (visa picked up at the arrival airport in Vietnam with the legal approval letter issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department).
